Charmaine was born in Malta but spent most of her life abroad, living primarily in the United Kingdom and Sweden. After many years away, she returned to Malta in 2018 and has been happily settled here since. With over 30 years of experience working with people, Charmaine brings a wealth of knowledge to Root Dental Clinic. She spent much of her early career working as a property agent for one of the UK’s premier real estate agencies, where she developed a strong understanding of customer care, communication, and helping people find what truly suits them.Her journey later took her to Sweden, where she lived and worked for nearly two decades. During this time, her career expanded into Human Resources, staff management, recruitment, and training and development across several countries. Her international experience, together with her fluency in Swedish, shaped her into a thoughtful communicator who values professionalism, empathy, and clarity.

Charmaine joined Root Dental Clinic in 2023 as our Office Manager. She plays a central role in the day-to-day running of the clinic, ensuring smooth operations while also being one of the first friendly faces our patients meet. Her focus is on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and making sure each patient enjoys a comfortable and positive experience when they visit.

Outside of the clinic, Charmaine enjoys hiking and long walks in nature. She loves relaxing to classical music and practicing meditation, and she is most at home in the kitchen, experimenting with seasonal recipes. Keep an eye on our blog — her delicious creations may make an appearance soon.
