Surgical Dentistry

Involving a range of procedures performed on the teeth, gums, jaw, and surrounding facial structures to treat diseases, injuries, and deformities.

Tooth Extractions

At Root Dental Clinic, we do everything possible to save your natural teeth — but sometimes, removing a tooth is the best choice for your health. A tooth may need to be extracted if it hasn’t erupted properly, is badly decayed beyond repair, has been damaged by trauma, or has become loose due to advanced gum disease.

When extraction is necessary, we use gentle, precise techniques to ensure a quick, comfortable, and painless experience, while protecting the surrounding gum and bone so your mouth stays healthy and ready for any future treatment.

Implant Treatment

Dental implants are fantastic way to replace missing teeth. This is done with small titanium screws that act like artificial tooth roots. They’re surgically placed into the jawbone, and over time they bond with the bone in a process called osseointegration (don’t worry, it all happens under the gum, where you can’t see it!).

Once healing is complete, we can attach either a crown to replace a single tooth or a bridge/denture to replace several teeth. Implants feel stable, look natural, and are the closest thing to having your own teeth back. For many patients, they have been life-changing — no more worrying about dentures falling out and the freedom to eat confidently again.
