White (Tooth-Coloured) Fillings – Repairing and Restoring Teeth

Ever felt a sharp twinge when eating something sweet or cold, or noticed a small chip in your tooth? These can be signs of a cavity or damage that needs repair. At Root Dental Clinic, we use white (tooth-coloured) fillings to restore your tooth’s strength and appearance.

We are a mercury-free clinic, and our fillings are made from a strong composite material that bonds directly to your tooth. This allows us to repair decay or chips while keeping as much of your natural tooth as possible.

White fillings not only blend seamlessly with your smile, but they also help prevent further damage, keeping your tooth healthy for years to come.

Inlays, Onlays & Crowns – Restoring Strength to Damaged Teeth

When a tooth has a large cavity, a crack, or is weakened by old fillings, a standard filling may not give it the support it needs. In these cases, we use a custom-made ceramic restoration — an inlay, onlay, or crown — to restore both strength and appearance.

  • Inlays & Onlays are used when part of the tooth still has enough healthy structure to keep. They fit precisely into or over the damaged area, making them ideal for large cavities or cracked teeth that don’t yet need full coverage.
  • Crowns cover the entire tooth, providing maximum protection. We recommend crowns when the tooth is extremely weak, has very large cavities, or has been heavily restored in the past.

How it works:
We remove decay or damaged tooth tissue, then take a precise digital scan. Your custom restoration is made in a dental laboratory for a perfect fit. While it’s being prepared, we place a high-quality temporary to keep your tooth comfortable. Once ready, your inlay, onlay, or crown is securely bonded in place — restoring full strength, function, and a natural appearance.

These ceramic restorations are strong, long-lasting, and highly precise, helping prevent future problems and protecting your tooth for many years to come.

Root Canal Treatment

Have you ever had lingering tooth pain that came on suddenly or woke you up at night? This type of pain often comes from the nerve inside your tooth. Nerve pain is considered one of the most intense types of pain a person can experience — at par with kidney stone pain and childbirth — but there’s no need to panic. If the tooth is still restorable, we can save it with a procedure called a root canal treatment. This involves carefully removing the infection from inside the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting it, and sealing it to prevent further problems. Thanks to this treatment, the pain is relieved, and your natural tooth can be preserved instead of extracted.
